Recipe: Fiery Fat Cat Bloody Mary

We love the meaty punch that comes with a well-made Bloody Mary. After a long night of rabble-rousing, few cocktails liven up the spirit and strengthen the gut better. Our version is simple, savory and spicy — thanks to the inclusion of our Fat Cat Mexican-Style Habanero Sauce. It’s just what we look for in an eye-opener.

Here’s what we did:


1 oz. vodka
3 oz. V8 Vegetable Juice, Original Flavor
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
.5 oz lemon juice (juice of about half a lemon)
3 grinds (or a generous pinch) of black pepper
1 dash of celery salt
1 teaspoon – 1 tablespoon Fat Cat Mexican-Style Habanero Sauce (depending on desired heat level)
1 stalk of celery (for garnish)


Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients (except celery stalk) to shaker.

Stir contents vigorously until all ingredients have combined well.

To gauge level of spiciness, start with 1 tspn. of Fat Cat Mexican-Style Habanero Sauce and taste. Add more Fat Cat Mexican-Style Habanero Sauce if a spicier drink is desired.

Strain contents into a rocks or Collins glass that’s been filled with fresh ice.

Garnish with celery stalk.
